The evening of Jan 6 is worth it’s own post
for the amazing sunset, which we were able to enjoy directly from the balcony
of our apartment.
Late in the afternoon, clouds had started to
move in from the West but not without leaving a gap at the far end of the lake
for the sun to shine through below the clouds, illuminating them in some of the
most colorful shades I have ever seen.
The mountain scenery offered itself as a perfect frame for a stunning evening spectacle.
